For my music video I visualize a family standing at the door with her brother with his bags in his hands about to leave to go to a camp in Afghanistan to join the war. The girl looking out of her bedroom window with tears streaming down her face. An outside shot of the taxi with the brother in it waving good by to his family. Then an inside shot of the taxi with a picture in his hand of parents and a smile on his face. Then a shot of the girl with the picture of her brother in an army uniform and tear drops landing on the picture of her brother. Then a shot of the brother writing a letter to his family and then his family reading the letter with tears and then flashbacks of shots of then girl and her brother when they were younger and then video gets played in reverse.

When I hear this song the footage I see for this music when I hear the song is I read that song is about her brother going to  Afghanistan. So I can picture at the start of the video her brother with suitcases saying goodbye to his family and going into a taxi and driving off with the girl singing out a window watch her brother driving off and a shot of inside the taxi of him looking at a family picture and a cut of the girl looking at the picture of the family too. The I see her walk out of the room dropping the photo while see is walking out and a close up of the family photo and the door shutting in the background.


Then I see the girl running to her parents and hugging them and crying about her missing her brother. While her brother is looking out of the window of the taxi and he arrives at the airport flying to the army base in Afghanistan. There is then a shot of the plane arriving at the afghanistan. Later there is a shot at night of the brother writing a letter to his family and looking at the picture of his family and a tear drops from his eye onto the letter and a week later the family read the letter and their is tear in the eye of the mum and the girl takes the letter and reads it in her room with a smile on her face and tears streaming down her face. Then there is a flashback of the girl and her brother of when they were younger playing in the garden.  Then at the end of the video it all gets played in reverse up to when the brother is about leave.

This music is very depressing and is like something bad happened to her like she broke up with someone. This is not a very upbeat song and I do not like to listen this sort of music because it bores me this sort of music. It may sound like a Coldplay song as many of their songs are depressing with high pitch piano in the background. The genre of this music would be I believe that it would be indie soul music genre

Evaluation

For our presentation we decided to do a clip from jurassic park 3 because we liked the film and it was a good clip to analyse from jurassic park another the reason we chose the sound from the clip is because we thought the sound would be great to analyse from diegetic to non diegetic sound. These sounds included dinosaurs roaring to the build up music to build up suspense in the film. Their were alot of sound effects in this film so we thought it would be good to do. The thing I thought went well in our presentation is that i thought we presented well on our presentation and we had a completed presentation so reading our presentation was not that difficult because we had what had to read. The things that didn't go well is that the projector would not play the video and we did not have the DVD of jurassic park so we had to play a clip which was not as long as we wanted on a mac that was not connected on the mac screen. For our presentation we got the level pass
